Dade County Emergency Services is staffed by the Director, Dispatch Supervisor and several telecommunicators. The center is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

All telecommunicators have been through extensive training, including public safety telecommunicator courses, CAD (Computer Aided Dispatch), MULES (Missouri Uniform Law Enforcement System), CPR/First Aid, Weather Spotting, SOP (Standard Operating Procedures), equipment familiarization, Emergency Response to Terrorism, CACH (Computer Aided Call Handling, 911 Interact Phone System, hands-on radio/dispatch training, couty-wide map familiarization and stress management.

In addition, telecommunicators complete 8 hours of continuing education every month.
